Our Tournament Director, Gayle Brice and her entire committee extend a big THANK YOU to Laura Sutherland from Worland for
preparing the daily Pairings and Starting Hole assignments for our tournament.
As some of you know, the WSWGA has specific rules to follow when assigning the pairings. It is not an easy task but Laura has mastered
our Webmaster's program to assist in this vital task.
Laura is not able to join us this year due to a scheduling conflict. However, she is looking forward to next years' tournament because her daughter
will then be eligible to join and play in the WSWGA tournaments.

Presenting Checks To Our 3 Charities

Gayle Brice, President of Wyoming Senior Women's Golf Association (WSWGA) and Cathy Toolson, Treasurer of the Star Valley
Ladies Golf Association (SVRLGA) present Malinda Pebbles with a check for $10,000 from proceeds raised from the annual
WSWGA tournament held this summer and hosted by SVRLGA. The Thayne Senior Center help raise $7,350 from local businesses
and individuals for the tournament, which the associations were able to add to those donations. In addition, they were
able to give The Turning Point, Lacy Mowat representative, $1,500 and the Thayne Food Bank $481.67 plus an additional $960
collected though-out the golf season from the Star Valley Ranch ladies' and men's golf association. Bonnie Johnson Chair
of the Food Bank Drive was also on hand to present to a check to Julie Buckley, Thayne Food Bank Coordinator. Julie tells
us that for every $1 donated, it buys $14 in food and/or other items.
